ABDC6 auditions spotlight - LA Pt. 1: 25/8, Elektrolytes, Entity, Fallen Kings, Flavas, Freshh, Freshh 2.0

Time for more attention and information on the crews that did well at the America's Best Dance Crew Season 6 auditions and might be chosen to appear on the show.  We know names for most of the crews that did well during their auditions.  We will soon run a contest to let you 'cast' which of the crews you think should make it to ABDC6 Top 10.  To help you choose and give these crews some exposure, we'll spotlight each of them and show any recent performance videos we can find.

Today: Part 1 in our coverage of the Los Angeles auditions, featuring seven more crews that made it to callbacks during the LA tryouts. Tomorrow: Part 2 of 5  on our coverage of the LA crews.
  • 25/8 comes from Hawaii. Their name represents "one hour longer, one day stronger". While the members have been dancing together for years, they've only been a crew for about a year. The larger group -- 24/7-- performed at World of Dance Hawaii in 2010.  Click here for their interview with Pacific Rim at the auditions. Leave a comment if you have further info or videos for 25/8 (not 24/7).
  • Elektrolytes, from Arizona, auditioned for America's Best Dance Crew Season 4 (watch their audition here) and Season 5. They also did well in the U.S. Hip Hop International 2010 competition. Click here to see our interview with them at the ABDC6 auditions (with a short free-style dance demonstration). Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Salsgroovefactory Youtube Channel.
  • Entity is an "ultra-contemporary" dance group from Orange County,California and are part of Boogiezone. They formed in 2009 and have performed at Maxt Out and VIBE ,  Click here for Pacific Rim's interview (with a short demonstration) at the ABDC6 auditions.
