Thanks to everyone who entered Week 3 of our ABDC Blowup Contest. We had as many entries as in earlier weeks, but only 3 people got it right -- BreakSk8 was our mystery crew.

Last Night's ABDC spotting #1: Ringmasters on America's Got Talent (video)

Ringmasters (ABDC Season 3) have followed the tradition started by Breaksk8 and Status Quo -- America's Best Dance Crew alums appearing on America's Got Talent. (JabbaWockeeZ also tried to win America's Got Talent, but appeared on that show before ABDC premiered). Two members of Ringmasters successfully got through the first auditions and will move on to the Las Vegas round. I love how Howie Mandel raves about the dancers saying "I've never seen anything like that before" -- perhaps he might try channel surfing over to MTV.  Ringmaster's segment begins at 26:05.

AGT/ABDC update: SQ Entertainment still in, Breaksk8 out

The latest on America's Best Dance Crew alums competing on America's Got Talent:

• Breaksk8 was eliminated before the semi-finals
  
• SQ Entertainment (aka Status Quo) was brought back as a Judge's Wild Cardpick
  

BreakSk8 moves onto next round at America's Got Talent

Congratulations to BreakSk8. They won a dance-off on America's Got Talent, and will move on to the next round! Thanks for the tip, Anthony!

BreakSk8, Status Quo on America's Got Talent

America's Got Talent continues to feature crews from America's Best Dance Crew Season 1. BreakSk8 and a reconfigured Status Quo (called SQ Entertainment) passed their auditions and made it to Las Vegas. If the BreakSk8 videos below is removed from Hulu, click here and watch BreakSk8 at 4:00 and SQ Entertainment (no individual video available) at 8:33. They now join ICONic and Live in Color for the next round at AGT. Time for an ABDC 1 reunion, anyone?

Bay Area Hip Hop Weekend -- SoReal Cru, DanceFest with BreakSk8

1. SoReal Cru appears for shows and meet and greets in the Bay Area this weekend.

• San Francisco: meet the Cru in San Francisco at Fatlace (1630 Post Street) from on Saturday 11/22 from3-5pm.
• San Jose: watch SoReal perform at Club Vivid on Saturday 11/22. Call 408-279-4444 for details. Then meet them at Sole on Ice (475 W. San Carlos St.) on Sunday 11/23 from 3-5pm

2. This weekend is also the 10th Annual San Francisco Hip-Hop Dance Fest, featuring 22 crews from around the world performing, holding master classes, and partying. Break Sk8 will perform along with notable crews like Soul Sector, OTI, Flawless, and Plaque. Click here for details and tickets.

Interview with Break Sk8's Diamond Walker

Seattle Heraldnet.com spoke to Break Sk8's Diamond Walker about the the crew and upcoming ABDC live concert in Everett Washington. Diamond talked about why the show and his crew are so popular: ""People have said we are an inspiration and that's it, the kids really look up to us...And I've seen adults too be inspired and how now everybody wants to put on a pair of skates."

A fan report on the America's Best Dance Crew Live tour: "Hey Nancy, It's Jon Jon giving you an update on my dance crew concert experience at Atlantic City, NJ. Just want to say it was the best show I've seen! Not only did I have floor seats but I got to bump into the JBWKZ and BREAKSK8 on the boardwalk! Both crews were really crew and even posed for some pictures with me."

Special ABDC Show on August 30: Battle for the VMAs

On the “America's Best Dance Crew: Battle for the VMAs” special, airing next Saturday, August 30 at 1:00 p.m. ET/PT, Season one crews Status Quo, Kaba Modern and Break Sk8 compete against season two crews SoReal Cru and Fanny Pak as each crew performs to one of the music video nominees. The prize: presenting at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 7. Viewers vote to decide who wins. The winning crew will be revealed at the VMA when they come on stage to present the award.

Show highlight: JabbaWockeeZ and Super Cr3w will dance together to a choreographed routine by Shane Sparks.

ABDC Live tickets go on sale August 15-16

MTV has announced that tickets for America's Best Dance Crew Live go on sale this weekend. They've added tour dates in Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix, Grand Prairie and Houston. Five crews will be on stage -- JabbaWockeeZ, BreakSk8 and three more crews which will be announced during the live finale on August 21. CONTEST -- Who's going to Win ABDC?

Now that we're down to the final 4, it's time for a contest. Tell us the order that the remaining crews will be eliminated and who will win. For example, in Season 1, the winning entry would have been 1. JabbaWockeeZ, 2. Status Quo, 3. Kaba Modern, 4. BreakSk8.

The prize: a JabbaWockeeZ-style mask of your very own, as well as bragging rights.

Rules:
1. You get 2 points for correctly guessing the winner and 1 point for correct guesses on the order of each of other crews, for a winning score of 5.
2. The contest will be open until the finale, but there is an advantage to entering early: once a crew is eliminated you get NO points for predicting their place (duh). So a perfect entry by this Thursday is worth 5 points, and a perfect entry made next week is worth 4 points.
3. Each email address can enter once a week. Post your entries in our comments or to bloggingbestdancecrew@gmail.com with the SUBJECT LINE: ABDC contest entry
4. Ties will be decided by lottery. Most bribes will not even be considered.
