Video: 2nd day of Crewmas: Rhythm City, Phunk Phenomenon, Elektrolytes, In da Clutch - Crew romances?

For the second day of Crewmas, House of Crews stitches together interviews from Rhythm City, Phunk Phenomenon, Elektrolytes, and In da Clutch with some dance footage. The big questions: Who's dating within the crew, and who (from any crew) would make a good pair. Find out who they match up with Chachi (IaMmE), Brian Puspos (Architeks, SoReal Cru), Shorty (Beat Freaks), and Kassandra (Phunk Phenomenon).

Video: Trenton Tabak choreography out of SoReal Studios (with a SoReal alum)

Trenton Tabak is a 17-year old dancer and choreographer out of SoReal Studios and a director for Homegrown, a crew out of that Studio. This video shows some of his choreography and includes Jackie Lautchang, an alum of ABDC2's SoReal Cru.  I continue to be impressed by some of the talent emerging from the Houston studio and hope Tabak and others audition for next season's show! ABDC Alumni: Brian Puspos & Glenda Morales

In Singapore, Brian Puspos (ArchiTEKS /Mos Wanted Crew) taught his very popular choreography to "Welcome To My Hood" - DJ Khaled. This time around, the piece is finally complete!:

In Seattle, Glenda Morales (Fanny Pak) was stuck in an airport, while waiting for her flight to Honolulu. Naturally, she spontaneously bursts into choreography to "How Does It Feel" - Keri Hilson:

ABDC6 auditions spotlight - LA Pt. 3: Marvel Inc., Mos Wanted Crew, Oceans 11 (Eclectic Gentlemen), Proteges, ReQuest

Time for more attention and information on the crews that did well at the America's Best Dance Crew Season 6 auditions and might be chosen to appear on the show.  We know names for most of the crews that did well during their auditions.  We will soon run a contest to let you 'cast' which of the crews you think should make it to ABDC6 Top 10.  To help you choose and give these crews some exposure, we'll spotlight each of them and show any recent performance videos we can find. 

Today: Part 3 in our coverage of the Los Angeles auditions, featuring five more crews that made it to callbacks during the LA tryouts. Tomorrow: Part 4 of 5  on our coverage of the LA crews.

• Marvel Inc. is a Los Angeles group with an established fan base that loves  their jerkin' style. You can follow them on Twitter and TheMarvelInc Youtube.The videos don't show much group dancing, but here's a recent one showing some group moves and the individual members' skills, starting around 2:28.

• Mos Wanted Crew is already phenomenally popular, though almost nobody has ever seen them perform together. The members have been leaders in the Hip Hop dance community and have been part of 29 other dance groups including ABDC alumni SoReal Cru. Supreme Soul, Team Millennia, and Boxcuttuhz. Mos Wanted Crew: How and why 10 veterans representing 29 groups came together as a crew, how they'll work, what they'll bring

There's been major buzz about Mos Wanted Crew, a group that auditioned for America's Best Dance Crew Season 6. As described in this video the members have worked in 29 different hiphop groups including ABDC alums Boxcuttuhz, Supreme Soul, SoReal Cru, and Team Millennia.
Because  there's curiosity about the group but very few people have seen them dance together, MWC creator Myron Marten volunteered to answer questions about the crew including:
--why they formed to honor and represent  the dance community
--how they chose members for Mos Wanted
--their goals
--their style ("grimy")
--how they will work together as a team
--why they auditioned for ABDC (it's not about winning but the opportunity to share their style with a wide audience)
-- what the name Mos Wanted means
-- how to get their shirts. 
Myron's interview is long but watch-worthy as a superb introduction to this unique group and to how the hiphop dance community may be evolving. I hope we can see their 'grimy' dancing soon! Thanks Myron for this and for all your excellent work at World of Dance!

Video: The ArchiTEKS First Video

The ArchiTEKS (a crew composed of many members of ABDC's SoReal Cru) held one of their first public appearances at Hip Hop International in July 2010.
