KoopaTV | Dance Clip of the Day: "Choreo Cookies CS Showcase 2011"

Hi there! NAO here with today's episode of KoopaTV and a little announcement after the video. Today, we're headed to Los Angeles, where last month Culture Shock hosted its annual Choreographers Showcase. Among the many groups performing in exhibition was Choreo Cookies.

This performance shows us a very different side of Choreo Cookies that we're not used to seeing. See for yourself:

Now for the announcement: after today, KoopaTV is going on hiatus for the rest of the year. For the time being, I will be taking his place, posting the dopest video of the week every Friday evening around 6. You can still submit videos to his YouTube here or mine here. Since I will be posting weekly, submissions must have been posted no earlier than the Friday of the last episode. KoopaTV | Dance Clip of the Day: Junior Boogie Judge's Showcase

Hey there! Today's clip takes us to Vancouver, Canada. In this episode of KoopaTV, we head out to the Last One Stands event, the biggest battle in Vancouver. Junior Boogie, one of the judges for the hip hop battles at this event, performs his judge's showcase in front of the Vancouver crowd.

His showcase combines a dope popping flow with some great b-boy footwork, and he transitions between the two styles very smoothly. This is only part of his showcase, which will leave you wanting to see much more. Check it out:

KoopaTV | Dance Clip of the Day: "Speakerphone"

Hey! We're going to San Diego! Today's KoopaTV takes us to World Of Dance: San Diego, where we find Samath Orm's project.

Samath is a legend in the San Diego dance community. He was part of the 2001 Culture Shock San Diego team along with Anna Sarao, Vanessa Andrada, Sherman Shoate, and many other amazing dancers who have trained many of the SD dancers in the scene today.

This is his exhibition project from World of Dance SD 2011. You may recognize many dancers from 220 such as Anthony Tabucbuc, Dan Surdilla, Kiko James, Justin Arcega, Trai and Kei Tsukamoto (former member). There are also other dancers who aren't from 220 such as Carlos "Momo" Morris, Raul and two kids from breakthrough, Dustin Yu and Vivian Lin.
