• My NC talked to Saltare member Lee Perez, family members, and others about Saltare on America's Best Dance Crew. They mention that it's hard to compete against crews that have been together for years. And, from according to Kaylene Barker, a Tri-Force Jump Rope member, "Some of the tricks that we do in jump rope look kind of like break dancing. So they have that on their side...“But as far as hip hop dancing, I haven’t seen much of that yet.”

It's a detailed look at the crew, its background, how the members prepared for the show (spending "countless hours on the Internet, studying crews from the Mainland" and even revamping their look when they were once knocked for having “baby faces.”), and their connection to Hawaii.
