Review: Michael Jackson ONE (Cirque Du Soleil)

As a person who has seen A LOT of Michael Jackson tribute shows, trust me when I say that Michael Jackson ONE is truly the best.  Without a doubt, it is the closest feeling to attending an actual MJ concert ever since the King's passing.  Everyone would absolutely love it - from the casual fan to the most hardcore, glove-wearing, devotee.  Dancers, and fans of dance, would especially enjoy that it's very dance-intensive.  And why wouldn't it be?  It was choreographed by Michael's choreographer, Travis Payne- along with Rich & Tone Talauega, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Olivier Simola, Ben Potvin, Adrea Ziegler, Ivan 'Flipz' Velez (Groovaloos), and the one and only, Parris Goebel (ReQuest Dance Crew, Royal Family).  Also, featured in the show are dancers from ABDC 6's 787 Crew (Puerto Rico) and ReQuest Dance Crew (New Zealand).  Michael's original music was brilliantly remixed and remastered by musical director, Kevin Antunes, and perfectly suited the enchanting story that only Cirque Du Soleil can tell.  And 'enchanting' is certainly the word that best describes this show.  Even as I type up this review, it's a struggle trying to remember everything that happened because I was so captivated and entralled.
