World of Dance kicked off their 2013 season with their awards to the people and groups that made singular contributions to dance in 2012. Among the winners:
- Mike Song - best male choreographer
- Ellen Kim - best famale choreographer
- Kaelynn Harris - best teen choreographs
- 8 Flavahz - best youth group
- Daniel Cloud Campos - most watched Youtube solo 
- Mike Song and his mother - most watched Youtube group dance
- Redbull BC One - Bboy event of the year
- Bboy Moy - Bboy of the year
