D2DIO begins its video series called The Arena today. As described by John Chu in the Wall Street Journal, "We’re playing with the idea of dance as a sport and having these battles. It will really show what the foundation of b-boying is. And like boxers, you find out what the dancers back story is, where they come from and their history. So when you see them battle, you understand the human history and context of it. All of our shows emphasize story. Dance is not just a spectacle. There’s a human side.
